Being helpful

Thirteen degrees Virgo, what a perfect place for a New Moon. Virgo can take what seems unlucky and discarded, then rework it all into order and beauty. I like healing Chiron as the ruler of Virgo. A centaur who's learned all the remedies trying to heal himself fits the sign of the constant tasks of keeping the world in good repair.

This New Moon is exact early in the day, a good time to wake up and make things happen. We're all done with the water grand trine. However with the New Moon we have a beautiful bowl of harmonious trines and sextiles working together for reorganization of what's no longer serving us:

1) Jupiter in Cancer, eleventh house: let us clear out threadbare ideas about nurturing and teamwork. Jupiter is still trine Scorpio Saturn, who holds the scythe to clear our third house communication of overgrown tangles.

2) First house Virgo Moon conjunct Sun: emotions and free will working together at being the kind of person who serves and heals as needed. The first house is about character, and we can choose character by choosing our habits. Sextile that obdurate Saturn in Scorpio, for help with letting go the old habits.

3) The New Moon is also trine fifth house Capricorn Pluto. Our fun and games and creativity will be seriously transforming with Pluto in the fifth house. He's also harmoniously sextile seventh house Pisces Neptune, for vision about how to work in pairs -- intensely, for this is Pluto.

4) Scorpio Saturn in the third house remains trine Pisces Neptune, in the seventh house of partnerships. I would think getting rid of what blocks communication would make room for lovely visions in relationship.

Jupiter, Uranus and Pluto are still in a t-square, so our ideas overall must continue to transform whether we like it or not. Fighting king Leo Mars, in the twelfth house of secrets and self undoing in this chart, is also harmoniously trine Aries Uranus in the eighth house of sex, death, rebirth and other people's money. Quick changes will get even quicker with harmony between those two planets of surprise both in fire signs.

I'm enjoying extra energy for organizing my own life, and this chart certainly shows me some of its sources in the astrological weather. May we all do what we can to help others; that is what Virgo does best.
